D-GROUPS
We would love to help you get connected to discipleship community on campus. Christ-centered relationships are one of the most profound ways to grow in your faith and experience God’s transformative power alongside others. Our discipleship-focused small groups on campus are known as D-Groups. These groups meet weekly for 10 weeks out of the fall and spring semesters, and you can select which D-Group is the best fit for you based upon class standings, program focus, or schedule availability.

BRE GENERA

Hi! My name is Bre! I'm a Junior English major who loves singing, drawing, and Jesus! I'm a bit energetic and love the color pink so it might be everywhere lol. My group will be a safe space, one of encouragement and support! In my group we will learn how to use the strength of the women of the Bible into our everyday life's which I am so excited for!

Hey guys, we are Josh and Levi.
Peter Louis in his book, Keep the Blood Warm, says in short, “(1) We are in a battle everyday for our attention. (2) What we what give our attention to, is what we worship. (3) We become what we worship.” In our group, we want to give our attention to God. We want to worship God. And we want to become like Jesus. This semester, we will be exploring the Psalms and Proverbs, giving our attention to biblical Wisdom and Worship, and applying what we learn to everyday life.

My name is Brian DeHaan, I graduated from APU in 2000. I now serve in the University Advancement office. My hope is to invest in the lives of young men as they navigate what it means to live a life fully devoted to Christ. Iron sharpens iron and we need each other to grow. We will use athletic themes to contextualize the Gospel in relevant ways and my hope is that over the course of the semester you will discover the freedom and purpose that can only be found in living a life fully devoted Jesus.
