PAYMENT refers to any payment made by a team member toward their particular service experience or a payment to their team's general funds. Only under exceptional circumstances, may a payment qualify for a refund if approved by the Global Engagement department.

Donations

DONATION refers to any funds given to a team member’s service experience, without the trade of service or products, qualifying for a tax deduction. *Donation links will be added once fundraising season begins.

Scholarships

  • $25

    Only applicable to domestic teams and Mexico when rentals are needed. *Scholarship automatically applied upon role assignment

  • $25

    Only applicable to summer teams. Person can only receive up to $200. Note: In order to be eligible for scholarship, members would have had to mention your name in the application. In case of cancellation, scholarship is reversed. In order to retain scholarship, members must attend a trip. Apply these scholarships before all team retreat.

  • $100 (FALL/SPRING)

    $200 SUMMER

    Person can only only receive up to 2 refer a leader scholarships. Note: In order to be eligible for scholarship, members would have had to mention your name in the application. In case of cancellation, scholarship is reversed. In order to retain scholarship, leader must attend a trip. Apply these scholarships before retreat/training day.

  • $200

    Only applicable to summer teams. Must have been a past participant on a Summer 2024 team or past Academic year Spring/Fall Trip . Both summer scholarships cannot be applied toward non refundable deposit, but can be applied to $400 airfare deposit.

  • $50

    Only applicable to Fall or Spring Teams teams.Must have been a past participant on a Fall 2023 or Spring 2024 team, Summer 2024, whether or not they have roll over funds. Both scholarships cannot be applied toward non refundable deposit,but can be applied to $400 airfare deposit.

  • up to 25%

    Capped at 10% of total trip cost. Students must apply for this scholarship. Amount is determined by director and program coordinator.

  • $50

    Applied if participant is paid in full 14 days prior to departure

  • $100

    Applied if participant is paid in full 30 days prior to departure

  • $1,000

    Two $1,000 scholarships will be awarded. Students will apply for this scholarship and finalists will be determined by director and program coordinator. Will be awarded in March.

  • $500

    Seven $500 scholarships will be awarded. Students will apply for this scholarship and finalists will be determined by director and program coordinator. Will be awarded in March.
