ONE-TIME OPPORTUNITIES

Spring 2025

One-time opportunities are worth 5 service credits. Partner organizations for each opportunity have been vetted by the Office of Service and Discipleship and provide APU students a meaningful opportunity to serve in the local area. APU students are expected to arrive on-time, serve for the duration of their shift, and to represent the university with humility, love, and kindness.

 Pasadena ReStore Day

Come volunteer for San Gabriel Valley's Habitat for Humanity Restore, located in Pasadena, CA! Our ReStore is a nonprofit home improvement store and donation center. It is open to the public and offers a range of items such as home goods, building materials, and unique vintage finds. All proceeds from the ReStore support Habitat for Humanity’s mission of helping families build or repair affordable homes in our community. Volunteering, shopping, or donating to a Habitat ReStore directly contributes to this cause. Volunteers can support various departments, including back-of-house operations, sales floor assistance, e-commerce, and vendor relations. There’s something for everyone, and we’ll do our best to match students with areas that interest them.
